On March 27^th and 28^th, a group of approximately 400 leading Latin American entrepreneurs and executives have met in New York to attend the fourth edition of Latin America GRI. From the Gremi International Team, Mr. Greg Hajdarowicz (Founder) and Mr. Piotr Maj (Head of Project Management) participated actively in the conference to showcase the Eco Estrela project.

According to the article published by Forbes magazine (March 27^th), the economy in Latin American countries is on the rise which promises developments in the Tourism sector. Investors from all over the world, although especially Americans, begin to see Brazil as an opportunity to invest and President Bolsonaro’s determination to welcome foreign companies to invest in Brazil only promises huge successes for projects such as Eco Estrela.

This month the government announced that on June  17^th 2019 Brazil will drop visas for US, Canadian, Australian and Japanese citizens. It will allow visitors from those countries to freely visit Brazil, without the need to obtain any additional documents.

On March 20^th, The Daily Mail announced that Virgin Atlantic will establish a direct connection between London Heathrow Airport and Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport. “The UK-based carrier says the new service aims to capitalise on the fast-growing Brazilian economy.”

On 12^th–15^th of March, representatives of Gremi International attended key event in the real estate sector – annual MIPIM conference. MIPIM gives projects – such as the Eco Estrela – an opportunity to meet investors, collaborators and business partners.

On April 11th Dominika Koczot, Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy at Gremi International attended the Luxury Travel Conference at the Brazilian Embassy, London. Event was organised in order to bring together key luxury sector players in the UK and Brazil. Eco Estrela project was featured alongside Rosewood, Antara and Fairmont as one of the investments that will change the luxury tourism scene in Brazil. 

On March 5, Eco Estrela was presented at the meetings organized by the Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting it was demonstrated how the project will affect the development of Brazil, especially the Northeast region. The project will be a catalyst for future large investments in the tourism sector in the country.

On March 2nd-4th, Mr Greg Hajdarowicz, Founder of Gremi International attended the 8th Global Family Office Investment Summit in Dubai - the world’s largest and most exclusive of family wealth conferences. The event was attended by over 400 Elite Family Offices, Business Owners, Royal Families, Private Investment Companies and Industry Professionals.

According to the Brazilian Tourism Ministry, the number of tourists in Brazil is going to nearly double by 2022. It is estimated that in the next four years the number of tourists visiting Brazil will reach 12 million, which will generate approximately US$19 billion in foreign currency, slightly more than three times the current amount.

At the Road Show in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Singapore the Eco Estrela project was presented to the senior managers of leading financial institutions, private investors and officials.
