Direct flights from London to Brazil to be launched by Virgin Atlantic

On March 20th, The Daily Mail announced that Virgin Atlantic will establish a direct connection between London Heathrow Airport and Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport. “The UK-based carrier says the new service aims to capitalise on the fast-growing Brazilian economy.”

Additionally, Virgin Holidays intends to launch trips to Brazil to exploit the spectacular destinations such as Iguaçu Falls or the Amazon rain forest. All of this promises a big increase of Brazil’s public perception and eventually might lead to a major growth of the tourism sector in Brazil.
